&nbsp Yitro Mimidian (English: Jethro of Midian), also known as Reuel and Hobab, was the father-in-law of Moses, and a priest of Midian, according to the Old Testament. However, after he visited Moses in Mount Sinai, Jethro converted to Judaism, and preached about God in his land. His descendants were illustrious subjects of Israel (through Moses' and Sephora's two sons), and his other descendants (through his sons and daughters) became the Kenite tribe, who of the most noted are Heber and Jael.
